So it’s my last week at the local McDonald’s and I am just counting the days until I no longer have to be there. They have utterly screwed up my schedule this last week, too. Not only am I not working my normal days, they have completely disregarded my availability. But whatever, I only have a few more days.
In other countdown news, Matt and I are anxiously waiting to be able to sign our apartment. September cannot come soon enough. We’re so excited to begin the next step of our lives together.
His daughter is super excited to start third grade, too. Next summer she’ll get to go to one of the camps my main job (and soon to be, only job) hosts every year. She’s excited to be in third grade, her dad isn’t as excited though. His baby is getting too big.
Oh, and I just got my tickets for the Cowboys Pre-Season game against Houston in August, and for our hotel room. One last mini-vacation before school and moving and everything else. This is going to be an absolutely amazing trip for him and I.
A lot of things to countdown to: leave a horrible job I hate, getting ready to move, my step-daughter starting third grade, and my boyfriend and I going on a vacation for the last time until we get super busy at our respective jobs. A lot to be excited about.
Until next time: Don’t let the stress of yesterday or the panic of tomorrow take away from the joy of today.
